Barbara Veloz, DMD

Dr. Barbara Veloz is a dedicated professional with a deep passion for dentistry & providing
quality patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in food & nutrition science from Florida State University in 2005, her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2009 & then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program in 2010. While attending dental school, she was awarded the UF College of Dentistry Excellence in Prosthodontics Award, the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award & was elected member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Veloz has had the opportunity to own & manage a successful dental practice for 10 years, providing her with the tools to practice all facets of dentistry. She is skilled in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, dental extractions, bone grafting, implant surgery & restorations,
periodontal surgery, full mouth rehabilitation, orofacial pain & occlusal guard therapy. For the
past year, she has even had the privilege to work for the Veterans Administration ensuring our
veterans receive the attention & care they deserve.

Dr. Veloz has kept up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field by obtaining certifications
with Chasolen Education & Research Center, Dawson Academy, Pankey Institute & Implant
Educators. She believes continual education & training are imperative for successful
treatment outcomes & a positive patient experience.

When she is not improving smiles, Dr. Veloz likes to go mountain biking with her son & enjoy
the wilderness of our Florida parks.
